The Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC) is seeking a Youth Services Consultant to join our outstanding Library Development and Networking team based in vibrant Austin, Texas.
The Youth Services Consultant takes a leadership role to ensure Texas libraries are knowledgeable about, and have resources to implement youth services that meet the needs of their communities. The person in this position will coordinate learning opportunities and manage statewide programs related to youth services, with a focus on public libraries.
They will also have the support of an engaged administration and a strong Continuing Education and Consulting team within the agency’s Library Development and Networking Division. This team implements training projects aligned with a set of core values: accessibility, inclusion, collaboration, connection and learning. The State Library provides opportunities for on-the-job learning and professional development to build your skillset.
